Can everyone please, just stop what you’re doing. And pray.

Australia is struggling right now. Brisbane and the Northern Territory are in threat of being engulfed by floods as big as the Sydney Harbour / or 17m deep. They say that all 5 states of Australia could flood. Please pray.
We don’t even know the power of our own tongue. The same power that raised Christ from the grave lives inside of us! If we say to a rock “Speak, in Jesus’ name” it could very well happen. So if we say to the floods “Stop, in Jesus’ name” they will stop!

I’m being expectant. Please pray.

the way He see's you

"Picture your body as a well-tended garden. You’re the gardener, working to bring pleasure to the Master who owns the garden. Now think: What if you were to constantly water your flower bed? The flowers would drown. What if you constantly covered them with fertilizer? They’d suffer chemical burn. What if you constantly stood over your garden, fussing and fretting, pulling at the flowers and leaves? You’d block the sun. All this over-gardening would do is stunt the garden’s growth. In the same way, overfussing about your appearance blocks the Son from growing you, too.

If you feel your arms are too skinny, or your thighs are too fat, concentrate instead on the beautiful eyes or hair you have. When you come across a mirror at home or in public, make a habit of not glancing at yourself in the reflection. Discouragement inevitably hits when you focus on percieved flaws. Regularly surrender your flaws and weaknesses to God, then concentrate instead on the good things God has blessed you with and the opportunities He’s placed in your path for that moment.

Because of what God has given you, your beauty is perfect! That includes what you see as imperfections. Pray that God will help you see yourself in the way He sees you, accept yourself the way He accepts you, and live out your beauty as He designed you to live.”

" Why do we keep them? Under our beds, up in the attic, in the back of some drawer. We could have thrown them out a thousand times, and yet there they are. Old love letters. Written to a person we no longer are, by a hand we no longer hold.
